Sony is getting ready to launch the PlayStation VR 2 device soon, and of course, it would not be a complete gaming experience without the titles coming alongside it. Good thing is that Sony and other game developers already announced the availability of their games alongside the upcoming virtual reality experience of the company.

The long-anticipated new gaming device from Sony has been announced for a long time, and it is finally arriving this year according to the company, after several delays.

Sony PS VR 2: What are the Games to Expect at Launch?

According to the latest PlayStation Blog post, its virtual reality library is expanding alongside the nearing launch of the PS VR 2. In total, 13 new games are joining the launch lineup for the world to see, and other titles arriving in the one-month window after the launch.

Sony said that the company will release the PlayStation VR 2 by February 22, and it is more than one month until its awaited arrival.

The company said that alongside massive IPs like "Horizon Call of the Mountain," "No Man's Sky," and "Resident Evil Village" VR, it will also launch:

Sony further claims that there are more than 30 games already available in their library once the launch window elapses after February 22.

PS VR 2 offers the latest there is to the company's virtual reality gaming experience, and it follows the successful PlayStation VR that launched with the PS4.

This new release would center on the latest console, the PlayStation 5, and Sony promises a slur of new techs like eye-tracking and advanced enhancements to the experience.

PS VR Experience

PlayStation's Virtual Reality has been a long-time famous experience on the famed Japanese gaming console, with the company confirming its latest release last CES 2022. It was unknown when its release date would be, and initial speculations thought it would arrive by 2022 for its availability, but Sony has not revealed any dates yet.

Back in August last year, Sony already confirmed that the PS VR 2 device will arrive by early 2023, but it is still a vague announcement as it did not reveal any specific dates for this year.

Gamers are now rejoicing as the new year entered, not only because of a refresh or new opportunities but also because of the nearing dates of this device's release.

Massive games like "Horizon VR," "Resident Evil Village," "No Man's Sky," and more were already confirmed to arrive alongside the PS VR 2. Now, more titles are already announcing their release for this year, joining the upcoming launch of the new VR device which Sony has promised for a long time, with new experiences in place.
