There is a new update for tech wearables now, and it centers on the Oura Ring which recently brought a significant integration for the Apple Watch. It will help combine data from the two wearables that are concerned with one's health and body, focusing on many features like heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep tracking, and more. 

The Oura Ring is best known for being a competitor of the Apple Watch as it offers a smaller device for all tracking needs but is now taking a turn for integration.

Oura introduced the Complications and Companion App for the Apple Watch, and this means that users may sync their data from one wearable to the other for a better understanding of their body. It will help combine different information and use it to better inform users of different happenings in their bodies, both delivering data from its features. 

It is available for the Oura Ring's Gen 2 and Gen 3 wearables and requires users to have at least the Apple Watch Series 4, updated to at least watchOS 9. It also requires the device to be under iOS 16, and the Oura App sporting version 4.8.1.

The Apple Watch app will mirror what the Oura app brings to iPhones, and it will also include the previous integration of the company with Apple Health to synch more data.

The Complication data on the Apple Watch would display customizable graphics on the Watch's face, with data like Scores, Activity goal progress, Ring battery level, Heart rate, movement, sleep, and body temperature graphs.
