OpenAI’s ChatGPT could Help Microsoft Bing’s Success in the Future of AI Search, Report Claims

OpenAI and Microsoft are known to have had a deep partnership for almost the past four years and extended their deal again from 2023 onwards. Now, there are speculations behind how this partnership could benefit both companies moving forward, especially in the success of ChatGPT in the world, for its application on Microsoft's AI search engine, Bing.

It is known that Bing is the best platform for Microsoft Edge, but people are more using Google's famous engine for their daily uses, for several years now.

There is a new report from CNET that speculates on how OpenAI's famous tool, ChatGPT, may help the long-time search engine from Microsoft, the Bing, in its future progression. As per its interview with Anton Korinek from the University of Virginia, ChatGPT is a leading tech that could "upend Google's market dominance."

It is known that Microsoft is on the verge of applying ChatGPT for its products and offers, and if applied to Bing, it may drastically improve the experience on the platform.

Another application also centers on a better way of addressing one's search, looking into a conversational and fun way of doing so, rather than the traditional approach.

Bing's AI Search Engine

Microsoft was open as to how it would apply the OpenAI tools to its products and technology moving forward, and the company has special considerations for ChatGPT. However, Microsoft has not yet confirmed or announced anything for Bing, especially with its existing AI search capabilities on the search engine.

ChatGPT's Success

During the early weeks of ChatGPT, it found instant success among the public, especially for those who received stunning results from their requests and keywords, for content. There were many excellent reviews for the AI program, but the creators from OpenAI claim that it is not intended for anything important yet on its current version.

Apart from OpenAI's optimism in making its AI tools work, there is also one other company that believes in its products and future, and that is the famed software company, Microsoft. In a report, it was said that the Redmond, Washington-based tech company aims to commercialize its tools, by having ChatGPT features available on its products.

There are different programs, applications, and services available from Microsoft that may receive its ChatGPT or OpenAI tools to further its use. One of the speculated ones is Microsoft Bing, particularly on its search engine and existing AI search that would help make it a more manageable platform in the future, along with OpenAI's top tech now.
