Google and Microsoft gave the world a massive upgrade to how they search on the internet as their most advanced artificial intelligence makes its way into their systems. Google centers on the Bard AI, which integrates itself into the company's prized search engine development, and Microsoft, on the other hand, has already made its way to Bing.

Microsoft said that it brought the public a "co-pilot" whenever they use the Bing AI search and the Microsoft Edge browser, with the latest ChatGPT-like features on its famed engine integration.

Before this, Google also revealed the Bard assistant, which would focus on integrating AI into its search to help make it more conversational with a personable system.

With the two Big Tech companies heading the competition regarding AI in search engines, there is a massive question about who will take the AI supremacy between the two. However, the answer to that is yet to come in the future.

For now, there are baby steps to be taken, especially with the Google Bard remaining on a closed testing experience for selected partners to help it immerse in the present internet.

Microsoft has an edge here, as it already brought a preview via Bing.com to present its latest AI integration to the world, a glimpse of how it fares on the market.

Google Shares Took a Hit because of Bard

Additionally, Google Bard takes a massive hit for its name, as well as Google's shares, mainly as it generated a wrong answer when asked a simple question about the first image of an exoplanet.

According to the Independent, Bard claimed that the 2020-launched James Webb Space Telescope was the first to capture it, but the ESA's Very Large Telescope in 2003 was the first to do so.

AI in Search: How Well Would It Fare?

AI in search engines may be something that people have experienced already in the past, as the two companies already integrated deep-learning technology into their systems before this competition. Google claimed that it has already integrated AI into people's searches to help them better on getting the results they need for a more authentic experience.

Microsoft also has this, and the Bing search engine is famous for its AI-powered capabilities available since then, with help from the company's Azure cloud infrastructure. Nonetheless, its ongoing partnership with OpenAI opened more wonders for the company's artificial intelligence ventures, with its latest integration already available.

These two massive entities on the Big Tech flex their latest developments to the world, but unlike Microsoft Bing, Google still has its ace, Bard, up in its sleeves for further limited testing. With the recent mistake of Bard making significant headlines, the competition is stiff on who will rise as the best service, fighting for AI supremacy in the present.
