Apple may still need to be quite ready for the arrival of its highly-anticipated take on an AR/VR headset, which sees another delay on its scheduled release, speculated to be in the first quarter of this year. However, fear not, as speculators already claim that the device is coming by WWDC 2023, which usually takes place in the second quarter by June.

There are several reasons that reports are claiming to be the reason behind its delay, centering on two roadblocks that prevent the company from pushing forth with its reveal.

Bloomberg's latest report claims that Apple's AR/VR headset is seeing another delay for its supposed launch during this first quarter of the year. Supposedly, the headset is arriving by early 2023 for the world to see. Still, there are no indications yet regarding Apple's release of this new device which centers on its iOS integration.

The report said that the center of the delay was two factors behind the AR/VR headset: its hardware and software developments.

Its "multi-faceted" problems are to blame for its non-existence in the present, and Apple has not yet exhibited any hints or information regarding its latest wearable, one that centers on developers and professionals.

Furthermore, Bloomberg (via 9to5 Mac) said that it is moving the launch window of the mixed-reality headset from Apple to its famed Worldwide Developers' Conference (WWDC).

WWDC is best known for centering on Apple's operating systems and its development but needs to be more about the hardware releases of the company.

There have yet to be any indications regarding the mixed-reality headset's launch by WWDC, as Apple remains silent regarding this device. For now, take this information with a grain of salt, and wait for WWDC 2023 by June to see what Apple has in store for the public.

Apple's AR/VR Headset Project

Speculators and insiders have heard through the grapevine and their trusted sources that Apple is working on a mixed-reality headset to deliver to the public. However, there are significant claims from these known Apple insiders which have been off for some time, especially since they first claimed that it would arrive by 2022.

According to their claims, it will feature the M2 chip to power the AR/VR headset and deliver 16 GB of RAM to carry out its processes and the famed xrOS.

Other sources say that it will have the same H series chip, one that is installed on Apple's wireless audio devices, the AirPods, for its seamless connection to the headset.

There is massive information regarding the Apple AR/VR headset, which highly piqued the public's interest, especially as it serves as Cupertino's first take on this digital reality. Massive delays cast a shadow regarding the mixed-reality headset's future availability, especially as missed windows elapse, with claims now pointing to WWDC for its release.
