'Mortal Kombat 12' Releases This 2023

According to IGN, "Mortal Kombat 12" is debuting sometime this year, alongside other massive titles, including other fighting games, launching in 2023.

Warner Bros. Discovery announced the release timeline of the upcoming "Mortal Kombat 12" game amid its earnings call with investors.

IGN reports that the video clip of the earnings call started spreading like wildfire on Twitter, giving us a glimpse of the confirmation of the much-awaited release of the fighting game.

No less than the Warner Bros. Discovery Executive Vice President of global investor strategy, Andrew Slabin, confirmed during the earnings call with investors that "Mortal Kombat 12" is releasing this year.

He discloses that "[there is] lots more to come, including the highly-anticipated 'Mortal Kombat 12' and 'Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,' games also set for release this year with ambitious launch projections."

Euro Gamer notes in its report that the confirmation of the release of "Mortal Kombat 12" is a bit unusual. It lacked any teaser or an event. Instead, the game reveals happened in an earnings call with Warner investors.

However, it is worth noting that neither Warner Bros. Games nor NetherRealm has publicly announced the upcoming "Mortal Kombat" game.

But given the word straight from Warner's Sablin, the new game sure is getting the shimmer of the spotlight sometime this year.

However, Warner has yet to announce its specific release date. All we know for now is that it will be released in 2023.
