Microsoft will begin promoting the AI chatbot for Bing as part of the upcoming Windows 11 update.

OpenAI's artificial intelligence is currently gaining traction among global communities. Now it is expected to be available soon on Microsoft Windows 11.

As CNBC reports, promoting the new Bing link with a start button will be essential in urging more users to use this search engine.

So far, Microsoft sees a lot of improvements that need to be done with Bing. It's not as popular with Google because it only contributes to 9% overall revenue of the company.

The Redmond giant might also be looking forward to competing with Google Bard chatbot which is seen to be its strongest contender when it comes to AI-powered search.

With Bing's new AI tool, it could respond to questions with substantial information. Although not all of them are accurate, Microsoft might develop this chatbot after many tests.

"It's a new day in search. It's a new paradigm in search. Rapid innovation is going to come," Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said about Bing.

Only Select People Can Access Bing Chat Button

The days of Windows 10 are finally numbered and it's a matter of time until Microsoft users can use it. By 2025, the tech titan will remove this service on PC and other devices.

The company discovered that as of January 2023, there are still many people who run Windows 10. According to StatCounter, nearly 68% of Windows users are using this version while only 11% are utilizing Windows 11.

The upcoming chat button for Windows 11 will only roll out to over one million users who will use the improved Bing search.

Furthermore, Microsoft expects that with the arrival of the taskbar update, more users will start using the updated search engine.

As per the company, there are over 500 million Bing users every month, according to Panos Panay, Microsoft's product chief.

If Microsoft wants to be on top of the search box, Bing needs to step up and continue to bring new upgrades progressively. This way, the firm could drive more people to test out the revamped Bing for the years to come.

More Windows 11 Upgrades

Speaking of upgrades, Windows 11 has added iPhone pairing and Notepad tabs in line with the continuation of the 2022 update, Ars Technica reports.

Elsewhere, Engadget writes in its recent article that Microsoft mistakenly alerted some users to upgrade their current OS to Windows 11.

Some users said that the changes came into effect even though their PC did not meet the minimum requirements for the installation of the operating system.
