Traveling above water is so old-school, so Rob Innes founded a company and created a new vessel that could skim the waters at fast speeds and dive underneath for short periods with a vehicle called "Jet Shark." Yes, this is the speed boat's actual name, and its design is also reminiscent of the kings of the underwater, the ultimate predators.

One of the most iconic features of this speed boat is its capability to go underwater, and this is something that only a few water vehicles can accomplish, one that could fit passengers inside.

There is a new startup called Jet Shark from Rob Innes, and it is also the same name as its water vehicle that features a semi-submergible build to allow its users to go underwater and cruise over it. The Jet Shark is essentially a speed boat, and it delivers fast travel both over and under the seas where it is deployed.

One no longer needs a submarine to take them underneath without getting wet. Jet Shark recently debuted a prototype that can seat up to four passengers inside, providing a new traveling vessel that could go to the waters and head to great destinations.

Its actual production version aims to seat six passengers in the boat.

Whether it is sightseeing on the horizon in open seas or looking at corals or marine biology underneath, it can do both.

Jet Shark Can Go Incredible Speeds, Over and Under

Innes recently spoke with CNET to discuss his latest development, coming from a background that also features a semi-submergible speed boat called the Seabreacher. However, Jet Shark features a faster vessel for all, with Innes comparing it to land vehicles.

While the Seabreacher drives like a racecar, the Jet Shark is like a GT car, meaning, it is faster.

The creator also claimed that the Jet Shark can seemingly fly underwater because of its significant speeds.

Boat and Water Vehicle Developments

The land may be overtaken by electric vehicles and vertical takeoff and landing (VTOLs) vessels, but the sea awaits your journey on the many innovations available in the present. If your preference is going on yacht cruises, then this solar-powered Bluewater Catamaran is the one for you, and one of its main features is its silent operations for serene travel.

Going on the down low means one needs a submarine, a pressurized vessel that needs to have the right build and equipment to help a person reach depths and avoid getting crushed by the underwater pressure. However, for leisure needs, this Alibaba-available electric boat also features a submarine capsule for short times to go deep.

Different people have different preferences on their hobbies, and there is a massive niche for boats and traveling on water. Jet Shark offers a way for people to go over and underwater, to experience the best of both worlds and see the majestic ecosystem hidden underneath, with one vessel to do both, one that could bring fast speeds for their travels.
