Apple to Release New iPhone 14 Color this Spring, Analyst Confirms It is Like Last Year

In case you missed the news, there are rumors as to the next iPhone release this Spring, and it would not be a new device, but rather a refresh of the iPhone 14 with Apple releasing a new color for all. In this latest rumor, it is not yet confirmed whether Apple would have it available for the Base, Max, Pro, and Pro Max versions, but it is claimed for the 14 and 14 Plus variants.

Still, this remains a rumor for its soon arrival, as there are claims that there would be a media briefing with reporters this March 7, which still has not revealed anything to the world.

Apple to Release New iPhone 14 Color this Spring

Mark Gurman's latest tweet confirms yet another rumor that a new color is coming for the iPhone 14 this Spring, and it will arrive at the same time as last year's announcement of the latest Green iPhone 13 release. Gurman claimed that this new color release is "imminent," and it highly puts attention on the upcoming color update to the smartphone.

This new iPhone 14 color would center on the yellow color, and this release was last seen from Apple's 2019 lineup of the iPhone 11.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 dropped the yellow smartphone color on their base models for unknown reasons.

According to MacRumors, there were also rumors regarding Apple holding a product briefing for this new colorway of the iPhone 14, coming this March 7, but there are no announcements yet as of this writing.

iPhone 13 Got a New Color Midway, Same as 14?

Should there be a new iPhone 14 color, it would be in time for the company as it's last year's midway release of the Alpine Green for the iPhone 13, a release that nobody anticipated from the company.

While there are no enhancements to its internals, features, and the like, this gives a refresh to the smartphone that will further fit a person's wants and preferences for its external look.

Apple and its iPhone Releases in the Past

Apple brought new and bold colors to its iPhone lineup since the release of the XR but only continued it for the base models of the iPhone. Back in 2019, Apple revealed the iPhone 11 to the world, along with its playful and bright color schemes for the base models of the device, all in all getting six colorways to choose from the lineup.

The iPhone 12 delivered also bold and exciting colors for the device, and this went on for Apple, putting them at a top spot for people showcasing their smartphones to the world, in different hues to express their selves.

This went on for the iPhone 13, but Apple delivered a new color for the public to enjoy halfway towards its release, with the Alpine Green debuting months later in 2022.

The current leak on the iPhone 14 is massive, but this only centers on the base versions of the smartphone lineup, and not exactly on its Pro variants. Still, this would be a great change if one wants the Yellow color scheme for their smartphone, and this may be what the iPhone 14 needs for its pop of excitement, like holding sunshine on one's hand.
