Discord to Feature Upgraded ‘Clyde’ AI Bot, from OpenAI’s API Interface including ChatGPT Tools

Discord debuts a new feature for its famous instant messaging and social networking platform, and it is its empowerment through artificial intelligence, focusing on its famed "Clyde" AI bot. This latest tweak to its platform centers on OpenAI's recently opened API interface which allows them to develop features and integrate its language model into different systems.

The famous ChatGPT tools and chatbot are also available on Discord now, with its wide rollout taking place in a few days, with the latest features exhibiting themselves on the platform.

The famous instant messaging platform, Discord, announced its latest integration of AI into its app, centering on OpenAI's API interface which it developed for its experience. The company said that it is letting AI be accessible and enjoyed by its users, to share with their friends and acquaintances on the platform for many needs.

One of the most iconic integrations here is with its bot, Clyde, who will get an upgrade with artificial intelligence. Instead of answering commands like a bot, it will deliver a more natural feel, extending conversations, and helping with the entire Discord experience using the "@Clyde" command in group chats or channels.

ChatGPT Tools, Chatbot, and Other AI features in Discord

Discord said that its ecosystem will improve in the future with its $5 million fund, and this gets a significant boost now with its AI incubator which OpenAI's API will help in developing.

Other features available now include the AutoMod powered by AI, Conversation Summaries to get people up to speed on unread topics, Avatar Remix for generative image models, and the Whiteboard AI.

More features are coming, with the upgraded Clyde bot coming by next week.
