Apple is allegedly on the verge of introducing its much-awaited AR/VR headset known as the "Reality Pro," and there are now claims that the device would cost users up to $3,000 for it. This is because of the significant features that will be available upon launch, but not only that, it would also allow accessing third-party apps present on the iPad for the wearable.

The mixed-reality headset remains unconfirmed despite inching toward the WWDC 2023, which speculators and analysts claim would be the event Apple would finally unveil the device.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman drops another report behind the AR/VR headset from the Cupertino company and claims that it brings promising features and experiences to the public. It centers on the many onboard features that users may enjoy once it becomes available, with different iPad apps accessible on the device, along with the possibility of adding third-party apps.

Moreover, Gurman said that the Reality Pro would deliver streaming features as it will allow users to access live shows including News, Sports, and other videos from launch.

Apple Arcade is also an experience waiting with the mixed-reality headset, with the device offering an immersive experience with games optimized for the virtual world. It would also include wellness features for health and fitness.

The AR/VR headset would also feature a USB-C port for data syncs and transfers.

Apple's Mixed-Reality Headset

The world is only waiting for the events of WWDC 2023 to unfold, as this would also be the time that Apple would release its years-in-the-making wearable device that could change the industry. This would be the first time that Apple would venture towards AR and VR technology, with all the neat experiences and features one enjoys with Cupertino's tech coming.

Since 2018, Apple has been demonstrating the mixed-reality headset to executives that lets them know how the device would feel and be like, with significant developments for five years already.

The AR/VR headset from the Cupertino giant still faces skepticism from its employees, as well as other analysts in the market who claim that it is not yet ready for launch.

Yet some believe that the world would finally get to see what Apple has to offer for all, a device that could revamp how everyone uses AR/VR technology, combined into one wearable. The Reality Pro remains a speculation as there is no information yet from the company, with WWDC 2023 being the answer to the questions and expectations of the public.
