ICYMI, Netflix released the official teaser trailer for Black Mirror's Season 6, which now confirms its release by June, which is more than a month away from now. However, there were no exact dates shared by the company regarding this release, but it is certainly one to look out for when it drops.

It centers on a whole new cast and stories that will bring the narrative of how technology affects our lives, but more in dramatic storytelling that would keep viewers at the edge of their seats.

Speaking to Tudum, Series creator, writer, and executive Charles Brooker, said that it is full of unexpected twists and turns, as it is the core of the show.

"I've previously sworn blind the show would never do, to stretch the parameters of what 'a Black Mirror episode' even is. The stories are all still tonally Black Mirror through-and-through - but with some crazy swings and more variety than ever before," said Brooker.

What to Expect from 'Black Mirror' Tech Gone Wrong Stories?

The teaser trailer gives the public a glimpse of what to expect from the company, and it is jumping from the past development of technology which shows a dial-up internet connection, down to a present or future timeline with familiar tech like smartwatches, venturing to space, and more.

A new cast will appear to bring the characters to life including Aaron Paul, Salma Hayek Pinault, Zazie Beets, Ben Barnes, Himash Patel, Annie Murphy, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, and more.

'Black Mirror' and How It Shaped the Society

Whenever watching the Emmy-award winner and critically-acclaimed "Black Mirror" from Netflix, all you can do is convince yourself that "This is not real" or "This may happen long in the future and not now," for its disturbing images of the growing tech world. COVID in 2020 locked down the world because of the pandemic, and some of the show's fictional events were comparable to real-life events that took place.

Despite leaning more into fictional horror, suspense, and thriller with technology, the public cannot erase the fact that these imaginations may already be under development in the real world. Some are already comparing what Elon Musk has in store for Neuralink to a "Black Mirror" episode, where brain implants are messing things up for humans instead of its initial promise to improve their condition.

It has been almost a year since the last speculation and rumor behind Black Mirror's Season 6, and fans are eagerly waiting for the series creator and its showrunners to show any signs of development, until its confirmation now. Black Mirror would not be a long wait anymore, as the new season would drop by June, with Brooker claiming that these new episodes would give the fans what they want and expect from the show.
