Heads up, Meta Quest users, as the wearable device are now adding a long-awaited feature that will not take up your time when you use the VR headset and update the apps installed. Meta Quest's v53 update's most significant feature added now is the ability to download updates even when the device is shut down, while plugged into the outlet and left to charge.
This feature will allow users to go and do other things or leave their devices overnight (although it is not recommended to charge devices when you sleep), which will allow them to access updated apps immediately.

The Meta Quest v53 update has just been released and it comes with some major improvements that users of this popular virtual reality headset are sure to appreciate. One of the most significant changes is the ability for users to plug in their devices and download updates without having to wear them.
"Nothing's more annoying than putting on your Meta Quest headset and clicking on a game only to find out it needs an update, right?" says Meta.

This means that there will be no more waiting for an app to update while wearing the VR headset, which can be a real hassle.
Quest users may simply open their devices and shut them down, then choose the "Update before powering off" option, leave their devices to charge and connected to the wireless networks, and go on their merry ways.

Meta Quest's Other Features with Version 53 Update
In addition to this, the Meta Quest Pro now supports WiFi 6E, which means that users will be able to experience faster internet speeds and more stable connections when using their devices.
Another feature that has been added to the Meta Quest v53 update is the Meta Quest Browser Website Category Filter. This feature is designed to help parents and guardians manage what their teens can access and view in the Meta Quest Browser.
Meta also updated its browser to allow users to stream Twitch via the headset. Additionally, a new Advanced Camera Setting and Stereo Audio are also adding enhancements to this new update, picking up from v44.
