'Diablo IV' Adds an Option to Skip Campaigns and Get Straight to the Action

Online users have shared information about Diablo IV's upcoming experiences, with one centering on the capabilities to skip the campaign that centers on the canon proceedings of the game. This means that gamers could create new characters under different types, including the Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, and Sorcerer.

This information was picked up from Blizzard's YouTube upload centering on Diablo IV's inside dive into its character types. Developers and game designers explained how they could experience a lot with their character in the game, particularly with its personalization and finding the right fit for them.

When using the skip button, gamers will not be immediately given a Level 50 character, but a Level 1 character that has all the story quests completed, with different Waypoints already available, access to mounts, and Whispers of the Dead.

There is a Catch in Skipping the Campaigns for 'Diablo IV'

However, skipping a campaign would not be immediately available for the game, as gamers need to accomplish the story quests or campaign mode of their first or original character from the start, as clarified by Adam Fletcher, Diablo IV's global community development director.

After finishing one campaign, all the other characters that they create would start from scratch, but not necessarily as they would be given a skip button that could take them straight to the action after the story mode.

Blizzard's 'Diablo IV'

Despite the massive delays to Diablo IV that was supposedly launching in the past years, Blizzard makes good on their promises and finally confirms it for 2023. It remains one of the most anticipated games from the developers and producers, centering on the latest experiences and features coming to the famed RPG.

The team is now sharing different insider content and information about the game, with many expectations that tease the many experiences that are coming later this June.

Despite missing out on the original beta testing gameplay available to those that applied, Blizzard also recently opened up a Server Slam that opens the game for more users to play and experience first-hand.

Diablo IV is coming this June 6, and it will bring gamers the highly-anticipated sequel that has been more than a decade in the making, with its last game released in 2012. Apart from the game's release, users may skip campaigns for other character types when creating a new profile, as long as they already finished it with their original characters.
