The latest announcement from Apple is a joy for all creative users looking to generate content from their portable devices as the Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro apps are coming to iPad soon. Usually, these kinds of news are what users expect during the Worldwide Developers' Conference (WWDC) where all the latest developments from the company arrive for their devices.

Apple Final Cut Pro, and Logic Pro Coming to the iPad

Apple's latest press release via the Newsroom shared the upcoming apps for the iPad that would arrive soon for the world, and this is in the form of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. 

First off is the Final Cut Pro, and this is the known video editing suite that is available for Mac computers to use for all their content creation needs, centering on the Apple suite that brings the experience. Its arrival on the iPad brings video editing closer to users that can take their projects on the go, as well as with features that enhance the touch-screen experience.

On the other hand, there is the Logic Pro for the iPad and it offers professional music creation right on the tablet, also integrating new touchscreen features for users.

Both of these new iPad apps would be available on the App Store for $4.99 per month or $49 (discounted) annual pricing for its subscription, with Apple offering a one-month free trial for it.

iPad Compatibility for its New Apps

The apps would drop on the Apple App Store for the iPad by May 23, and before users download and avail of it, they should know of its compatibility for the device. 

First off, Apple requires your iPad model to be updated to the latest OS, or at least iPadOS 16.4.

For Final Cut Pro, the company said that it would only be compatible with the iPads running on the M1 chip or later, while the Logic Pro would be available for iPads sporting the A12 Bionic chip or later models. This means that both apps would best be compatible with iPad Pro models which started using the M-series chips. 

Apple's iPad Development

The upcoming WWDC 2023 is soon to bring the latest there is from Apple's development for all its devices, and that does not leave the famed iPad behind on its updates and new features. There are many things to expect for the iPad at this year's WWDC, with Apple gearing up to deliver the iPadOS 17 that would join the iOS 17 in introducing the latest there is for its portable devices. 

Massive expectations are set for WWDC 2023's iPad developments, as leakers have centered on the many upcoming features for iPadOS 17 that will elevate the experience. Alongside the operating system's leak is the new iPad Pro expected by insiders to follow soon, one that would deliver 14-inch screens that would expand the experience, alongside the latest M-series chip. 

Despite the exciting news regarding these new apps for the iPad, it is important to know its compatibility with one's device as well, to avoid paying for a subscription should it not be available for their device.
