With thousands of shows and movies in its library, it may be hard to find what to watch on Netflix when browsing, but the company is now introducing new features coming to users that will help. It centers on the My List feature that would help arrange the content that they bookmarked to their profile and account, giving users a better sorting experience with their lineup of saved media.

That is not the only feature in this latest announcement from Netflix, with the company first rolling it out for Android users, then in a few weeks, to iOS owners.

Netflix's My List is Getting an Upgrade to its Sorting Features

Netflix, the renowned streaming platform, has announced an exciting new update aimed at helping users discover and organize their favorite shows and movies more efficiently (via The Verge). The update focuses on enhancing the popular "My List" feature, offering users a range of new tools to simplify content exploration and ensure a personalized viewing experience.

One of the key additions to the My List feature is the ability to arrange content by date added, providing users with a convenient way to prioritize the latest additions to the platform.

Furthermore, Netflix has introduced an expanded set of categories within the My List feature. Users can now sort their saved content into specific categories such as TV Shows, Movies, and more. This enhancement allows for a more organized and tailored browsing experience, enabling users to quickly find the type of content they are in the mood for.

Netflix has implemented a feature that distinguishes between series or movies that users have "Started" and those they "Haven't Started" yet.

'Coming Soon' Will Appear on Your Homepage

To further enhance the user experience, Netflix's homepage will now showcase a dedicated section called "Coming Soon." According to CNET, this section will provide users with a glimpse into the future by highlighting upcoming shows and movies, giving users a chance to anticipate the upcoming titles of the company.

The update will initially roll out to Android users, ensuring they can take advantage of the enhanced My List feature first. In the coming weeks, Netflix plans to extend the update to iOS devices, allowing a broader range of users to benefit from the improved content organization and discovery capabilities.

Netflix and its Streaming Experience

The Netflix experience is one of the most famous in the world, but the company is already moving to a fully-digital era as it recently announced its shutdown of the DVD rental service

Still, this does not change massive things in the company, as its digital streaming has been the focus in modern times.

It also revamped its Basic plan with ads, allowing users to stream simultaneously on selected titles with the affordable tier.

Netflix's growth has been massive, and the company is looking for more ways to bring users a manageable and easy experience, starting with the upgrade to its My List. Coming Soon is also getting a highlight on the homepage, one that helps with the overall streaming experience on the platform.
