"Diablo 4" is collaborating with KFC to promote the latest game to the Diablo franchise uniquely. With its partnership, players can access exclusive in-game weapon cosmetics by purchasing particular items from the fast food chain.

No Formal Announcement from Blizzard or KFC but Leaks were Already Speculating the Collaboration

According to the story by Game Rant, this deal is interesting because, unlike other promotions, there was no formal announcement from Blizzard or KFC. The promotion came out of the blue and is now live at numerous fast-food chains.

Despite the lack of announcement, earlier leaks suggested this would be the case, saying there could be a KFC x "Diablo 4" collaboration even before it happened. The leak came from an internal email referencing numerous in-game cosmetics players could get whenever they buy KFC.

The particular in-game cosmetics players would have something to do with poultry to make the deal more interesting. The leak revealed several poultry-themed "Diablo 4" weapons before the collaboration surfaced to the public.

KFC Recently Added a "Diablo 4" Themed Landing Page

It was also noted that on May 29, KFC suddenly added a "Diablo 4" themed landing page on its website, partnered with the announcement of their collaboration, as announced by Wowhead. This also came as multiple restaurants started using themed cups and wrappers.

The report also shared that fans can purchase a Sandwich or Sandwich Combo Meal to get a code for their in-game cosmetics. The purchase can be made on the KFC website or the KFC app.

Fans Can Link Their KFC Accounts to Their Battle.net Accounts to Redeem the Bonuses

Starting May 30, it was also announced that players could finally link their KFC accounts to their Battle.net accounts to redeem the in-game cosmetic codes swiftly. Players can continue to purchase KFC items until July 2 to unlock all cosmetics.

It was also announced that there were five exclusive cosmetic rewards that players could unlock, and should players want to get them, they would have to make multiple purchases at KFC for the Sandwich or Sandwich Combo Meal.

Players Would have to Spend Up to $25 to Avail All Five Exclusive In-Game Cosmetics

The article also noted that the least expensive option was $5, and should players want to unlock all five in-game cosmetics, they would have to spend up to $25 to do so. Wowhead also tweeted a screenshot of the KFC website, and a certain Twitter user, @kneckt_rp, shared a picture of what the "Diablo 4" meal looked like.

Another user, @triplebud, shared a picture of what the poster looked like at their local KFC while asking how they could get the code. The user also noted that they needed to sign up but didn't know how even on the app.

It was noted that players would get one reward per purchase and would only get up to five rewards per account. The bonuses were also only available for US orders, and the buyer had to be 18 or older to participate in the promo.
