A NASA report revealed that sightings of mysterious flying metallic orbs or "unidentified objects" are becoming an everyday occurrence in the world. The space agency called these metallic orbs an "unexplained anomalous phenomena," with as much as 800 sightings confirmed over the past 27 years.
NASA's independent team of scientists is reportedly working with the Pentagon's official investigators on top secret unidentified flying object (UFO) cases. To date, it remains unknown where these mysterious orbs come from. Many scientists believe these are signs of extraterrestrial life, but NASA said it has yet to find any credible evidence of alien life.
NASA Addresses Mysterious Metallic Orbs Frequently Sighted
According to a recent report released by NASA, the mysterious metallic orbs flying around the world have become a frequent occurrence.
Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, director of the US Department of Defence's All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), said these sightings are almost becoming a daily occurrence "all over the world, and we see these making very interesting apparent maneuvers," Unilad reported.
Kirkpatrick noted that the Pentagon now receives some 50 to 100 monthly reports. However, he said only a small percentage of these, about two to five percent, are "really anomalous."
According to The Wall Street Journal, NASA shared a video during a meeting about UFOs on Wednesday, showing a mysterious "spherical object flying." Pentagon officials said they have yet to be able to explain what the object is. The unidentified metallic orb featured in the video reportedly appeared in the Middle East in 2022.

Are These Signs of Extraterrestrial Life? NASA Explains
The prevalence of these sightings has sparked curiosity and speculation among scientists and the public alike. Astrophysicist David Spergel, chair of the study group, noted that confirming the existence of otherworldly life would require "damning" evidence.
While the report sheds light on the significant number of sightings, he said there is currently no "extraordinary evidence" that would definitely point towards the presence of extraterrestrial life forms.
