Sony's earlier live stream officially unveiled the WF-1000XM5 wireless headphones to the world, with the device highly-awaited by the public for a long time now. The company also brought its release video that highlights several of the tech and features it included for the device, improving from its last year's release of the WF-1000XM4.

One of the trusted names in audio history, Sony pieces together a massive release for its audio wearable, bringing forth its latest design and engineering for the audio device. It promises a better active noise canceling feature that blocks out all ambient sound, as well as High-Resolution audio thanks to its latest processors on each piece.

The company also partnered with R&B star, Miguel, in introducing the device to the world.

Sony's Iconic Audio Wearables

The world may have gotten an iconic sound from Apple's AirPods lineup, as well as its Beats, and the smartphone manufacturers dominating the audio device industry, but the likes of Sony are still relevant with their developments. For years, Sony has proven that its wireless audio wearables are some of the best in the world, from wireless over-the-ear headphones, to its in-ear devices.

Earlier this year, the last-gen wireless earphones, WF-1000XM4, have dropped its prices to as much as $200 only, with a $100 price slash on the high-quality wearables. It was believed to be a cue from Sony regarding its next-gen wireless earphones that will update its current lineup, with the device's announcement coming three months later.

Sony is regarded for its quality, rich sounds, iconic drivers, and overall form factor for its TWS earphones over the years, making them a significant contender against Apple's tech and the others. The long-awaited update of the WF-1000XM series is now here, featuring the latest developments for all audio listening needs for $299.99.
