A new product from 8BitDo is set to bring nostalgia back to your modern setup as it introduced the Retro Mechanical Keyboard, now available in its shops. What makes it nostalgic and retro is because of its use of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) designs on it, alongside detachable and programmable "Super Buttons" as seen on the original controller.

The Nintendo Entertainment System was not meant to have a keyboard connected to it as it focused on its controller, but this new product from 8BitDo is set to bring the NES experience to the PC. The latest launched 8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard sounds exactly what it is, a keyboard meant for Windows computers and the Android smartphone.
It offers three modes of connection, the 2.4G wireless with 8BitDo's iconic USB Type-A receiver, Bluetooth, and the Type-C wired connection.

What makes it more special is that it features what users look for in a mechanical keeb, particularly its hot-swappable PCB. It comes with dye-sublimation PBT keycaps with MDA-like height to complete the retro look.
Moreover, it offers programmable buttons like the A and B found in between the Control and Alt keys on the bottom mid-right side of the keyboard. This 80 percent keyboard is tenkeyless (TKL) and comes with a detachable Super Button resembling the A and B buttons of the original NES controller that is also programmable.
To top it all off, it comes with knobs atop it, for volume controls, and Kaih Box switches, also claiming 200 hours of use on 4 hours of charging time.

What is more impressive about the keyboard is that 8BitDo offers it at around the average price of artisan keyboards present in the market, all under one complete package. It is now available to buy for $99.99 on 8BitDo's website or via Amazon.

It is available in two colorways, with the N Edition featuring the white, gray, and red colors, and the Fami Edition which centers on white and red only.
