Copilot AI is undeniably the most awaited feature that will come to the Windows 11 update on Sept. 26. However, based on the latest leak, it's not the most promising improvement to watch out for this week.

Buzz About Copilot AI

First and foremost, the star of the show in this update is the introduction of Copilot AI. This AI assistant, a groundbreaking addition to Windows 11, is poised to redefine your computing experience.

While there's still speculation about its full capabilities, it's undoubtedly a move that holds great promise.

Reviving Taskbar Customization

For many users, the taskbar is a crucial part of their workflow. In Windows 10, the option to never combine windows of the same application on the taskbar was a boon. It prevented the clutter of stacked icons, keeping each window separate.

As notable leaker PhantomofEarth shares on X, the upcoming Windows 11 brings back this much-loved feature to allow users to regain control over their taskbar.

Another useful addition to the taskbar is the ability to right-click on an app and quickly end the task. This streamlined feature simplifies managing your open applications, offering a more efficient way to navigate your workspace.

Customizing Your Taskbar's Look

Windows 11 also offers the flexibility to tailor your taskbar to your preferences. If you wish to declutter your desktop, you now have the option to hide the time and date from the taskbar, providing a cleaner and more personalized workspace, per TechRadar.

When it comes to managing audio, it becomes more sophisticated on Windows 11 with the introduction of a new volume mixer. This feature allows you to adjust the volume of individual programs on a per-app basis, providing finer control over your audio experience.

Moment 4 For Windows 11

While this update marks Moment 4 for Windows 11 22H2, with the 23H2 update still on the horizon for Q4, it raises questions about what more could be in store for Windows users. The accelerated pace of important feature releases is undeniably exciting, making the future of Windows 11 even more intriguing.

Looking back in May, Tech Times wrote that the rumored Moment 3 Windows 11 update will only focus on minor upgrades. However, the latest report suggests its successor could be the most exciting change in 2023.

To install Moment 4 updates between Sept. 26 and Oct. 10, follow these instructions from Neowin.

  1. First, head to the Settings.
  2. Google the option containing "Get the latest updates as soon as they're available."
  3. Tap "Check for update." The extra updates that you can download will depend on your preference.
  4. Click "Download and Install." Wait for a few moments until you see the Moment 4 update.
  5. Restart your PC for the changes to take effect.

The version 23H2 will be a separate update that Microsoft will release in Q4 2023.
