The cat is out of the bag, as Honda is expanding more of its electric vehicles in the market, now unveiling the 2024 Honda Prologue, an all-electric SUV with promising specs. It claimed that this EV SUV will bring as much as 300 miles of range, featuring Google built-in to its technology, a sleek profile to its design, and more in its first take on electric cars.

Another of the best things about Honda's 2024 Prologue is that it takes in GM's Ultium batteries to power the vehicle, getting massive perks, particularly in its US sales.

Honda has introduced its first all-electric SUV, with the 2024 Honda Prologue debuting what it has to offer the world in the future.

First off, it keeps a simple, sleek design, with the company calling it a "clean reo-rugged styling" as developed by Honda's designers in Los Angeles. It is also expected to reflect an EPA range rating of 300 miles on its full charge with DC fast charging.

The 2024 Honda Prologue also offers a multi-link front and rear suspension for a more sporty experience, with an 85-kilowatt-hour battery. There is either the single-motor option with 19-inch wheels or a dual-motor configuration that will come with 21-inch wheels.

There are also options for either a two-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configuration. Among its most impressive features is its Google-built-in system to help bring technology on full display, also offering Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Honda claimed that it will be in the "upper $40,000" price range and will begin its preorders later this year and its deliveries by early 2024.

Honda and GM's partnership will also be seen with the 2024 Prologue as it is built with the Ultium platform, with its dual-motor trim offering 288 horsepower and 333 ft. lb. of torque.

Since it will arrive with the GM Ultium, it is eligible for a $7,500 EV tax credit in the US.

Honda and GM's Partnership

One of the main moves by Honda toward sustainability is to denounce its F1 ties with Red Bull and AlphaTauri, as the company vowed to be more environmentally-aware, with carbon-free power sources in the future. And while Honda is not quick to jump to the electric vehicle bandwagon, the company has formed massive plans and partnerships worldwide.

Its most iconic partnership is with General Motors, with both collaborating on future electric vehicles, GM is in charge of manufacturing Honda and Acura's EVs in its Mexico and Tennessee plants starting in 2023.

So far, this has been accurate as in this new announcement of the Prologue coming next year, Honda and GM's partnership has already started for its target release date next year.

While electric vehicles are only one part of Honda's clean energy mobility plans, the upcoming 2024 Prologue will bring its first fully-electric vehicle powered by GM's Ultium platform. Honda is ushering its first electric SUV in the market, offering various features including support for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sporty driving experience, and performance with sustainability.
