A captivating new destination, Leyja is a stunning natural valley carved into towering mountains. It will be home to three luxurious boutique hotels which encompass concepts of Adventure, Oasis and Wellness.

Unveiling Leyja

A pristine region located in the picturesque Gulf of Aqaba in northwest Saudi Arabia called Leyja is set to unveil itself as a new sustainable tourism destination. Led by the Board of Directors of NEOM, Interesting Engineering reported that this initiative boasts three thoughtfully designed hotels that harmonize with the stunning natural surroundings.

Tourists visiting Leyja can look forward to a diverse range of activities, from thrilling adventures to serene wellness retreats, allowing them to immerse themselves in the valley's unique offerings.

This development goes beyond providing comfortable accommodations; it includes upscale dining options, modern restaurants, rooftop infinity pools, guided wadi walks, picturesque hiking trails, and opportunities for mountain biking and rock climbing, ensuring a comprehensive and unforgettable visitor experience.

Aligning with Saudi Vision to 2030

The company is committed to aligning with Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to create a robust and sustainable tourism sector.
NEOM's vision extends to dedicating the vast majority of its land in various destinations and cities as nature reserves.

In Leyja, an impressive 95 percent of the area will be meticulously preserved for the environment, utilizing innovative and eco-friendly construction methods to seamlessly integrate the development into the natural surroundings.

In line with this approach, the statement emphasized that the three hotels in Leyja have been thoughtfully designed by world-renowned architects to harmonize with the adjacent natural landscape, operate sustainably, and deliver unique experiences.

The properties in the region are set to provide a total of 120 boutique rooms and suites, evenly distributed with 40 units in each hotel.

Tailoring Properties for Unique Adventures

In Leyja, each of these three properties has been tailored to provide unique adventures. One is designed for active enthusiasts, featuring a deconstructed structure that ingeniously ascends the wadi walls in a stair-like fashion. This setup allows guests easy access to rock climbing and other high-energy activities in the vicinity.

The second property, located at the heart of the valley, features a staircase leading from the Canyon, ensuring convenient access for guests eager to explore the stunning surroundings. Lastly, the third property stands as a wellness retreat, with a focus on promoting longevity.

As per Cision, its high-tech, reflective façade mirrors the breathtaking beauty of the valley walls. What sets it apart is its design, which permits the wadi's natural passage through the center of the property, offering an entirely unique and interactive experience for visitors.
