Chucky from Child's Play is coming soon to Dead by Daylight as a killer.

The Fog, the eerie realm of Dead by Daylight, has witnessed the presence of legendary horror icons over the years. The likes of Jigsaw, Sadako, and other spooky figures have already made their way inside the game yet several killers are still waiting to be chosen.

The DBD team says that Chucky's inclusion was initially met with skepticism due to his diminutive size. For those unfamiliar with Dead by Daylight, its core mechanics involve Killers picking up, carrying, and hooking Survivors, which seems incompatible with the character of Chucky.

However, the development team's determination prevailed, leading to the much-anticipated arrival of Charles Lee Ray, better known as Chucky.

To capture the true essence of this infamous character, the game was honored to have Brad Dourif, Chucky's original voice actor, reprise his iconic role and record new lines for the foul-mouthed doll.

From Chucky to Tiffany With Love

Players can now dive into a world of customization for their tiny but deadly Killer. Various terrifying Outfits allow players to make Chucky even more menacing.

Interestingly, the "Good Gal Outfit," inspired by Tiffany Valentine, also known as the Bride of Chucky and voiced by the legendary Jennifer Tilly, will be included in the game as a new skin, per VGC.

Chucky, with his pint-sized stature, can be regarded as a stealthy Killer. He has the ability to hide behind even the smallest obstacles on the map.

His deadly lunging attack allows him to swiftly close the gap on unsuspecting Survivors, all while reveling in his maniacal laughter. The killer doll's unique "Scamper" ability lets him vault through windows and under pallets, making him a distinct and relentless threat.

Furthermore, the multiplayer survival horror game introduces a range of Add-Ons inspired by iconic kills from the Chucky franchise.

Whether it's the iconic rat poisoning scene from "Curse of Chucky," the deathly yardstick from "Child's Play 2," or the electrifying TV from "Bride of Chucky," these Add-Ons breathe life into the Chucky experience, bringing fans closer to the horror franchise.

Character Perks of Chucky

Chucky brings with him three unique character Perks that maximize his sinister nature. The first one is "Hex: Two Can Play" which blinds any Survivor attempting to stun or blind the Killer. Pair this with another Hex Perk to lure Survivors into a Cleanse attempt, only to meet a swift end at Chucky's knife.

Chucky's second Perk, "Friends 'Til The End," exposes the Obsession when a Survivor is hooked, revealing their aura. Hooking the Obsession causes a random Survivor to scream and become the new Obsession, creating intriguing gameplay possibilities.

The third Perk, "Batteries Included," turns Survivor's success into their downfall. Completing a Generator grants a movement speed boost to the Killer, allowing them to catch fleeing Survivors before they reach safety.

According to IGN, Chucky will be the 34th killer of the Dead by Daylight franchise.
