A Weibo leaker called Digital Chat Station unveiled the latest development by OnePlus for its upcoming OnePlus 12 smartphone, talking about a "Wood" variant coming soon. What makes this the "Wood" variant is its classic wood grain shell that was claimed to be the smartphone's back panel, as opposed to the usual plastic or metal finish on its rear.
Android Central claimed that it is unknown if OnePlus will only offer a release that brings a wood-themed shell case that is a special fit to the device or an integrated back panel.
The leaked image shows how the wood variant will look like, complete with the imperfections of the material meant to resemble legitimate wood.
