Web browser apps came to the mobile platform to give users a synced experience, but that is a different story for Samsung Internet as it is now available to the Windows PC platform to offer this feature. Through this, Samsung's Galaxy smartphones which use the default web browser app on their devices will have their browsing data available on their compatible computers.

This offers an essential experience who have been using the default browser app on their phones to get a seamless experience whenever browsing on their computers.

Samsung Internet is now available for Windows PCs to download and sync Galaxy smartphone data.

SamMobile first spotted the arrival of the Samsung Internet app, made available for Windows PCs to download and use for their needs, and this is a new browser that allows smartphone data to carry over the computers. This means that for those using the default mobile browser on Galaxy smartphones will no longer have to worry about changing browsers to get their data synced.

Through this feature, users will see different aspects of their mobile web browsing experience available on their computers.

Upon the first launch of the app on Windows PCs, users may import their browsing history, bookmarks, and other aspects of their internet experiences. Moreover, it can also import search engines available in other apps like Chrome or Edge.

Sync Galaxy Smartphone Data to Your Computer

The Samsung Internet app is now available on the Microsoft Store to download directly to one's computer, and using this would allow the sync of the Galaxy smartphone data to their Windows PCs. The experience also promises privacy for users, including its support for web add-ons and extensions seen on Chrome and Edge, with the Chrome Web Store accessible.

Samsung's Smartphone Experience

For a long time, Samsung has focused itself on offering the world its top mobile and smartphone experience with its various devices available in the market. This includes the Galaxy smartphone lineup, as well as the Galaxy Tab series, but the company is also known for its laptop computers, a.k.a. the Galaxy Book, which offers the Windows PC experience.

Many companies have also featured the interconnected experience where one device can rule them all, and that was what the world first saw with Samsung. This centers on its Galaxy smartphones that could control smart home devices and appliances before the Matter integration arrived, going ahead of Apple, Google, Xiaomi, and more which offer the modern smart home experience now.

There are countless of times when transferring the smartphone browsing experience to the web is frustrating, especially if the sync is not enabled, and while this is not a problem for Chrome and Safari, Samsung faced this challenge before.

But now, it is no longer an issue with Samsung Internet's PC arrival.
