AWS' ongoing re:Invent conference is not yet done showing off what it has developed for its dive into generative AI, and the e-commerce company unveiled the Titan Image Generator which looks to help various industries to create meaningful media.

According to Amazon, the new Titan generative AI is "Designed to help customers in industries such as advertising, ecommerce, and media and entertainment produce or enhance studio-quality, realistic images, using natural language prompts, for rapid ideation and iteration on large volumes of images and at low cost."

The company claimed that the Titan Image Generator was trained using a "diverse set of datasets," over a "broad range of domains," where users can fine-tune for their needs.

Bedrock Customers May Soon Access

There are two new tools in the Titan's generative AI suite, including the Titan Image Generator which is available in the preview, and the Titan Multimodal Embeddings. It is available for customers on the Bedrock.

With the Titan Image Generator, businesses and customers may create images via text prompts or customize and edit a certain image already done.

Amazon's Dive into Generative AI

While the massive shift to artificial intelligence was pioneered by the revolutionary ChatGPT and OpenAI, Amazon is no longer new to this technology as it has deployed the tech for many years already. It centered widely on its renowned AWS, and it initially offered "AI service cards" which give explanations to clients and customers about what it brings to their business.

Earlier this year, Amazon followed up with its generative AI take for the AWS platform, and it centered on their massive releases that bring the Titan and Bedrock to the world. Under their web services, its customers may access the generative AI suite that offers to help in creating new chatbots and image generators for their businesses, to offer new tools via Amazon's tech.

More recently, Amazon's re:Invent conference has unveiled a list of generative AI developments that aim to bring a significant focus on creating media content, to center on advertisements for business campaigns. The e-commerce platform claims that its Titan Image Generator will bring useful tools to create relevant images, following even the most complex prompts.
