Grok Plushie is Not Related to Elon Musk, xAI's Chatbot

While it features the same name, the new Grok plushie from Grimes and Curio is not in any way related to Elon Musk and xAI's latest release, featuring the same name of Grok.

This Grok needs to connect to the WiFi to bring its generative AI chatbot features available to kids, a companion that is meant to answer their bugging questions entertainingly, with Grimes behind its voice.

Grok: The Unique AI from Elon Musk's Startup

Elon Musk's latest startup company, xAI, saw a fast development, as it was only announced earlier this July, centering on a new AI collective that aims to offer improvements in the industry. The main goal of the company is to "understand reality," looking to study deeper and further to expand human knowledge, with its product capable of answering unknown questions in the world and beyond.

That being said, Grok was unveiled months later, and earlier this November, the company already showcased the first iteration of their AI-powered chatbot that was set to debut on Musk's platform, X (formerly Twitter).

One of the main things that set Grok apart from other AI chatbots present is its wit, cheekiness, and daring personality that will address even controversial topics.

However, not months later after xAI's Grok arrived on the platform, it saw a rival, and this came from Curio and Musk's former partner, Grimes. This version of Grok is cute, and while it is not meant to compete with xAI's chatbot, the plush toy aims to offer significant learning experiences for children, also featured as an alternative to kids using smart devices for their entertainment.
