Microsoft has released the awaited Android version of the Copilot AI, centering on the AI-powered chat assistant that offers the power of OpenAI's latest models, and in this case, GPT-4 and DALL-E 3. Through Copilot, users may have the generative AI experience that the Redmond-based company offers in desktop browsers, integrated via the Android platform. 

From text content to images, Copilot's generative AI is here to help, offering a more intuitive experience that is streamlined for mobile platforms. 

According to WindowsLatest, Android may be the first one, but the iOS version of Copilot's app is coming shortly, with its development 'nearly ready' said the report.

Copilot is Better than Bing, Here's Why

It is known that Copilot on Android is replacing the previous AI chat app from Microsoft known as 'Bing Chat', and while this is part of its move towards using a new name and face for its AI, there are also other reasons why it is better. 

First off, Copilot is a more straightforward AI that offers a direct experience to all generative AI needs. On the other hand, this focuses solely on offering AI help to users. 

Bing Chat is known to also offer generative AI, but there is the integrated search, rewards, and other add-ons that Microsoft's renowned browser brand brought.

Earlier this November, Microsoft rebranded its massive AI focus to Copilot, and before, it was best known using a namesake that held a renowned experience under the company, Bing. The play on words with Microsoft's AI gives it more meaning in using as one's assistant in different needs, centering on various platforms as well. As the Copilot AI, it offers to be the all-in-one solution where users would go for all requirements, with its assistance bringing in the power of generative AI to users, integrated across the Microsoft family of apps.

With Copilot established by the company early on, it centers to be the forefront of its AI developments and one that offers help for all types of customers, across different devices. The Copilot AI is now available for mobile users to experience on Android, with the iOS app following soon, offering an integrated mobile experience that is accessible for free.
