Meta Threads Trending Feature Now Available
Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri went to Threads today and brought a significant announcement that marks the arrival of the Trending feature, the latest of what Meta offers. Through this, users would be able to see the top posts on Threads and search for the topics that are the most searched or talked about subjects on the renowned platform.
Long speculated and requested by the public, Trending will offer a way to engage people in learning more about timely topics, as well as talking about them via the platform.
Mosseri regarded that this feature would be available to see on the For You feed (a.k.a. the Home feed), as well as via the Search bar.

AI to Help Curate Trending on Threads
Interestingly, this is powered by Meta's AI, with the machine-learning tech helping curate the feed or search by bringing forth the top talks of the town for users to consume. Mosseri also claimed that this AI would play a massive role in offering content to users as it would not repeat specific topics or make it confusing for the user, also saying that Political trends are also "eligible."

As more and more people are looking at Threads as their daily source of information and entertainment, the platform is shaping up to bring significant features and experiences to enjoy. But more importantly, Meta has committed itself to improving information dissemination on the platform and pledged that this year, the world will be getting a new fact-checking initiative for the platform.

Additionally, the company also centered on "searchable topics" or texts in a post that is hyperlinked to a specific keyword, and it will bring the hashtags without the octothorpe sign.
The regular updates from Meta bring a fresh new experience on Threads that certainly gives it a plus for the world to enjoy in their usage of the social media platform. However, the latest feature drop of the company is only for the United States region, yet one that would soon be shared with the world, offering an AI-powered Trending feature on the Threads platform.
