Tech giant Samsung is preparing to release another game-changing update that will improve how you share and enjoy audio across your Galaxy ecosystem.

According to a recent press release, Samsung is looking to extend Auracast support beyond its smart TVs to a variety of Galaxy phones and tablets, including the highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 (L) and Z Flip5 (R) smartphones are displayed at a Samsung Electronics store in Seoul on October 31, 2023. South Korea's Samsung Electronics said on October 31 that its operating profits for the July to September period were down 77.57 percent from the year before, even as new smartphone releases boosted revenue.

Auracast Support for Galaxy Phones

Auracast, a feature introduced last year for Samsung Smart TVs and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, has proven popular among users, allowing them to turn their devices into shared radio stations.

Samsung is now poised to democratize this experience by expanding Auracast support to a broader range of devices, beginning with the upcoming Galaxy S24 series.

With the expansion of Auracast support, users will soon be able to broadcast audio to multiple Auracast-enabled earphones directly from their Galaxy phones and tablets.

Imagine easily sharing your favorite songs or podcasts with friends or family members, all from the comfort of your handheld device or tablet.

New Features for Samsung Users

The upcoming update will also add new features to the Galaxy Buds lineup, such as 360 Audio and Auto Switch. 360 Audio allows users to immerse themselves in a surround sound experience that was previously only available on phones and tablets but is now available on TVs as well. This feature promises to provide a theater-like audio experience from the comfort of your own home.

Another innovative feature is Auto Switch, which ensures that devices connect seamlessly. Whether watching content on your Samsung TV with Galaxy Buds or taking a call on your Galaxy phone, Auto Switch automatically switches the connection to provide a hassle-free experience.

Samsung AI-Powered Features

Samsung's commitment to improving connectivity and the user experience does not end there. The company is also introducing free AI-powered features to enable barrier-free communication.

Real-time translation capabilities on the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Buds integration promise to transform cross-language conversations. With Interpreter mode, users can receive real-time translations through their earbuds while conversing with others, eliminating the need to pass devices around.

Galaxy AI's integration into Samsung's ecosystem reinforces the company's vision of seamless connectivity and intelligent features. Whether pairing your Galaxy Buds with the latest Galaxy S24 series, connecting to your Samsung TV, or joining a conference call on your Galaxy Book, Samsung's ecosystem promises to improve every aspect of your audio experience.

The rollout of these updates is scheduled to begin in late February, with Samsung gradually introducing enhanced connectivity features to users of various Galaxy Buds models.

Samsung is poised to redefine how users interact with the Galaxy ecosystem through seamless device integration and AI-powered enhancements. Stay tuned for more updates as Samsung continues to innovate in audio technology.
