Game File News shared a new interview with Xbox head Phil Spencer, who recently unveiled how much the Xbox Cloud Gaming contributes to the total hours played in Xbox games. According to the Xbox executive, the cloud-based service already reached "double digits" on the said total hours, putting the number on at least 10 percent or more.

While the exact figures were not divulged by Spencer, contributing to as much as 10 percent or more of Xbox's total hours played only shows how the Xbox Cloud Gaming has grown since it was introduced in 2021.

It was regarded by 9to5 Google that this is thanks to Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ads and other campaigns which helped boost more of its cloud services' numbers.

Spencer also revealed that the Xbox Cloud Gaming experience was not limited to traditional platforms like the Xbox console and PC only. Xbox Cloud Gaming and What It Brings For All

Microsoft's Gaming Division poured massive investments and committed itself to growing the Xbox, and this included the renowned Xbox Cloud Gaming which it introduced to the world in 2021. With or without consoles, Xbox is looking to expand more of the gaming division of the company to bring significant titles and experiences available whenever.

One of the most significant enhancements for Xbox Cloud Gaming was the planned addition of keyboard and mouse support to connect the renowned PC peripherals to the service. Before this, gamers may only go on their Xbox Cloud Gaming experience via the Bluetooth controllers which are available for their specific devices like smartphones, smart TVs, and more.

The recent claim by Spencer only affirms the growth its Xbox gaming service sees, and while console hardware sales are not that massive for them, its renowned services are filling in the gaps. Xbox Cloud Gaming is widely available on various platforms to enjoy, and thanks to Microsoft's relentless push for the service, it now delivers significant numbers for its entire gaming division.
