A new reality game show is coming called Beast Games, thanks to the new collaboration of MrBeast and Amazon's Prime Video, which pools up a $5 million cash prize in a winner-takes-all setting.

It is regarded as the biggest cash prize in reality TV and streaming history, something to be expected from the lucrative YouTube content creator who previously held competitions like this.

However, instead of premiering on his YouTube page, MrBeast is taking the experience to Prime Video, getting a significant format change compared to his previous showcases.

MrBeast and Amazon are taking Beast Games to a whole new level in a new partnership to bring the series to Prime Video, the company announced today. Based on Jimmy Donaldson's, a.k.a. MrBeast, hit YouTube Show, Beast Games is touted as the "biggest single prize in the history of television and streaming."

It will offer a $5 million cash prize to a single winner, with 1,000 contestants competing for the coveted pool and, ultimately, the winner of Beast Games

MrBeast will be the host and executive producer of the series, with Amazon Prime Video exclusively streaming the reality game show over its 240 regions worldwide. This also means that MrBeast's YouTube page would not have streams of the episode.

Donaldson also teased about how the new game show would break "many other world records" but did not reveal much about the Beast Games. Soon, MrBeast will give updates and more details about the game show, which he will start filming now with Prime Video.

The $5 million prize is more than his Squid Game competition in 2021 and also beat Netflix's controversial Squid Game reality show, which offered $4.56 million.

MrBeast's Massive Costs on Content Creation and Competitions

MrBeast has made himself known for his challenges and insane prize pools for winners, something he has built on for years, making him one of the top YouTubers of this era. In 2021, the YouTuber recreated the hit Netflix show Squid Game into a reality show of the same name that was uploaded on his YouTube page, with the winner given $456,000.

However, MrBeast revealed that producing the reality game show cost him $3.5 million alone. The content creator has no regrets and says he enjoyed its development.

Additionally, MrBeast's collaborations also involved spending a lot on challenges, including the Fortnite x MrBeast event, which held an in-game competition. The highest scorer of this three-hour limited event received $1 million.

In this new collaboration with Prime Video, MrBeast is set to bring a new record for himself and Amazon for the biggest prize money in the history of television and streaming, and he will soon start filming, said the influencer.

With $5 million on the line, it remains unknown what Beast Games has to offer, with other details like how to join it or when it will stream soon to be unveiled.
