Jimmy Fallon celebrated his temporary Tonight Show move from New York to Los Angeles by opening up with a parody of the theme song from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air on Monday night.

Fallon kicked it old-school with the iconic opening sequence, which started with him sitting on the throne as he describes the story about how his life got turned upside now.

"I'd like to take a minute, if that's okay, I'll tell you how I brought The Tonight Show back out to L.A.," Fallon raps.

With a little assistance from The Roots, who helped recreate the basketball scene, Fallon explains how he decided to take the show on the road to escape the cold. And of course Higgins hilariously played the character of the nagging mom.

Alfonso Riberio, better known as Carlton, makes a cameo, showing Fallon and Questlove and Tariq how the move is really done. DJ Jazzy Jeff also makes an appearance in the parody as the cab driver who takes him to L.A.

"I looked at the city and said today's the day we bring the Tonight Show back to L.A.," Fallon ends with.
