Microsoft and Crocs have revealed their latest collaboration for the footwear brand, showing off the "Xbox Crocs" that feature the rubber clogs taking on the design of their iconic controller.
Xbox Crocs Is a Controller-Themed Footwear for Fans
Microsoft and Crocs are not yet done with their collaborations for this year as both companies have unveiled their latest crossover that transforms the iconic rubber clogs into one inspired by the Xbox controller. T
The new "Xbox Classic Clog" takes on the form of the Crocs Classic Clog but adds a unique design to it as it is an Xbox Controller-themed footwear, complete with all the buttons and look.
Each pair of the Xbox Clog features a dedicated Xbox logo and button, the XAYB buttons in their original colors, the D-Pad, and the left and right analog sticks that make up the controller. It was revealed by The Verge that the Xbox Crocs design was inspired by the Xbox One X's controller and not the one from the Xbox Series S and X or even its Pro versions.
The pair also features bumpers on their top left and right sides, and it is meant to emulate the left and right bumper buttons of the controller, as well as the triggers that are placed behind them. Additionally, Microsoft and Crocs decided not to split the controller in half for each pair of the clogs, as they emulated a two-player setup with each foot having its complete set of an Xbox controller for "Player Left" and "Player Right."
It should be noted that this is a limited-time release only, so fans and players should be quick to purchase it before stocks run out or its listing is removed from Crocs' official website.
Xbox Crocs Price Tag, When to Expect
According to Crocs' website, the Xbox Classic Clogs costs $80 for a single pair of the limited-edition footwear once it goes live on the website. There will be an additional accessory to purchase to further stylize your Xbox Classic Clog, and this is the special Xbox 5-pack Jibbitz charms.
There are no holes to insert the Jibbitz on the top part of the clogs, but Microsoft and Crocs instead put the holes on the strap, and here's where owners may insert the charms. The 5-pack Jibbitz costs $20, and it features iconic characters from renowned Xbox games like "Halo," "Fallout," "DOOM," "World of Warcraft," and "Sea of Thieves."
The Xbox Classic Clog from Microsoft and Crocs will be available to purchase starting Tuesday, November 25, via the Crocs website. It remains unconfirmed until when the limited-edition footwear will be available for sale to the public.
