Samsung seems to be ditching the plastic and faux leather body of its previous smartphones and is going premium with an all-metal body.

The Korean smartphone maker has yet to unveil what it has in store on March 1, a day before the Mobile World Congress kicks off in Barcelona, Spain, but Samsung is hyping up the event with yet another teaser of what the Samsung Galaxy S6 could look like. And based from the 49-second video teaser, the upcoming Samsung flagship smartphone could feature an all-metal rear cover, very thin bezels or a curved display, and Samsung's stunning AMOLED display.

"Metals will flow," says a female voiceover as a shiny, dark liquid flows along the metal edge of a device. "Beauty will be powerful. Borders will disappear. Reflections will be free. Colors will leap. The future will be the present."

The teaser hints at what we already know, at least based from the rumor mill. In terms of specs, it is likely that the Galaxy S6 will run on the powerful Snapdragon 810 or Samsung's own 64-bit Exynos 7420, depending on the country.

Samsung initially dropped an original deal with Qualcomm due to overheating issues in its latest chipset, but Qualcomm agreed to rework the Snapdragon 810 to retain one of its major clients.

The video also suggests that Samsung could be revealing a smartphone that will have very thin bezels or a curved display. It's unclear if the Galaxy S6 will take after the experimental Galaxy Note Edge or if Samsung plans to unveil two smartphones, the Galaxy S6 and a Galaxy S6 Edge.

A report by SamMobile cites an insider who says Samsung will indeed have two smartphones, the straight-screened Galaxy S6 and a Galaxy S6 Edge with a display that is curved 30 to 50 percent on both sides. Considering that there is not much appeal for curved screens yet, it will not be surprising if Samsung takes the wraps off two phones.

Another teaser, this time from T-Mobile, shows the curved display of a smartphone. The image, which is headlined by the phrase "Six Appeal," shows a display curved on both sides, although T-Mobile gave no indication of whether the phone in the image is the Galaxy S6 or the Galaxy S6 Edge. The image also shows what appears to be a dark metal backside, affirming what Samsung has teased in its latest video.

In terms of the display's resolution, the new smartphone will likely sport a 5.3-inch AMOLED display with ultra high-definition resolution, featuring vivid color saturation so that colors appear to leap off the screen.
