Everyone knows that through the use of music and clever editing, movie trailers can set the tone for an entire film. But there's a strange phenomenon that happens when a trailer is made to suggest one kind of film, when the movie itself turns out to be something very different.

Like a trailer that's made to emphasize the few comedic moments of a movie, when the movie is really a drama.

This kind of misleading marketing campaign is frowned upon in the film industry, but that doesn't stop some studios from doing it anyway.

The ever-savvy world of YouTube has taken the idea and run with it, though, often with very funny results. Amateur filmmakers like Bobby Burns regularly recut footage from popular movies to show how easily clips can be manipulated to trick you.

One Andrew Olszewski has taken it upon himself to construct a horror trailer for, of all things, The LEGO Movie. Crazy, right? Well let's just say that everything turns from awesome to horrifying in no time flat. According to Entertainment Weekly, Olszewski created the trailer as part of a school project.

Check it out.
