Mashd N Kutcher is the name of a two-man music act from Australia that's hard to describe. They call themselves DJs, but neither of them has a background in techno music or engineering. One is a classical pianist, the other is a drummer specializing in metal rock.

What they really do is mashup diverse genres of music to create something new and unique. Already a favorite live show in Australia, the duo has also become famous for regularly crafting one-of-a-kind mashup experiments and posting the results on YouTube. They've posted several such videos over the last year, combining DJ skills with samples of things like Call of Duty, the sound of a toothbrush falling, and the crowd at one of their own concerts.

Their latest mashup experiment found the guys wandering the streets, asking local business operators and others to use their portable keyboard to mash out some melodies. When it came time to find a singer, they tried to recruit a bus driver, but he wasn't interested. Next, they stopped a man who was jogging down the sidewalk.

What happened when they put the microphone in this gentleman's face has got the Internet buzzing.

How ya like them apples?

Thanks to the vocalist's smooth pipes, this video is spreading like crazy on social media. Some have already tracked down the singer: his name is Ross Burbury, and like Mashd N Kutcher, he hails from Australia. From what little we're able to glean from his social media accounts, he's an indie singer/songwriter, and he frequently performs cover songs. Also, if his Twitter account is any indication, he appears to be fluent in Russian (and for some reason, tweets in Russian only).

Of course, this wouldn't be the Internet if some people weren't questioning the legitimacy of Mashd N Kutcher "randomly" finding Ross Burbury jogging down the street. But they share a hometown, so it's not that hard to swallow, is it?

We're going to give them the benefit of the doubt, if for no other reason than exposing us to that voice. And that cool little mashup MNK pieces together at the end of the video, too.
