In the "mash-ups we never expected" category, this new video by Downton Abbey actor Rob James-Collier combines 1920s British drama with... the Death Star.

That's right — this video is Downton Abbey meets Star Wars, and if you've ever wanted to watch Mr. Bates (Brendan Coyle) go toe-to-toe in a lightsaber duel with Thomas (James-Collier) – aka the "Evil Butler" – you'll definitely want to watch this.

There's also a cameo made by Downton's head butler, Mr. Carson (Jim Carter) — who, obviously, has to remind the men of their duties.

James-Collier shot the parody video on his iPhone, hoping that it would help him raise money to run the London marathon and benefit his chosen charity, the Chilterns MS Centre, which provides non-drug treatments for those living with multiple sclerosis.

The video is only the first of several promised by James-Collier, and although this one is free, future videos will only be available to those who have donated to his efforts to run the marathon for charity.

The video leaves us with a cliffhanger: "To be continued?"

Anyone interested continuing and donating to James-Collier's cause can do so on the website EvilButler.com.

This video may cheer up some fans of Downton Abbey after learning that the next season will be its last. The British drama is not just critically acclaimed and beloved by television viewers in its home country, it has also received awards and adoration in the U.S., too.

So how will the show end? Obviously, Downton Abbey executive producer Gareth Neame hasn't given many details.

"We wanted to close the doors of Downton Abbey when it felt right and natural for the storylines to come together and when the show was still being enjoyed so much by its fans," said Neame. "We can promise a final season full of all the usual drama and intrigue, but with the added excitement of discovering how and where they all end up."

Now that we've seen Downton Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Valet, though, we're almost hoping a lightsaber duel will happen somewhere within the halls of the Downton estate before the series finale.
