AT&T will soon begin offering LG's latest curved display smartphone. The carrier has announced that the LG G Flex 2 will be available for purchase on April 24 online and in retail stores.

Samsung isn't the only smartphone manufacturer differentiating itself from rivals by using curved flexible displays on select handsets. The Galaxy Note Edge and the just-released Galaxy S6 Edge both employ unique curved displays that not only give the devices a distinct design but also use the curves to provide features like shortcuts to apps and notifications.

LG has also introduced customers to curved display smartphones when it launched the LG G Flex in late 2013. The company introduced its follow-up when it unveiled the G Flex 2 earlier this year. The LG G Flex 2 is already being offered by Sprint and U.S. Cellular and is about to make its debut on AT&T. The carrier posted the details on its site.

"The G Flex 2 is the latest addition to LG's G Flex line of smartphones and has been improved with an advanced curved design and a slimmed down, higher resolution display to support better ergonomics," states AT&T on its website. "The iconic curved design of the G Flex 2 follows the contour of your face, while also providing a reassuring ergonomic grip, which makes it easy to hold and operate. [While] the 5.5-inch Full HD P-OLED curved display of the G Flex 2 provides stunning color and smooth crisp video."

AT&T will begin selling the LG G Flex 2 through its online and retail stores beginning April 24. The carrier is offering the smartphone for zero down with AT&T Next and 30 monthly payments of $23.64, $299.99 when signing a new two-year contract, or $708.99 to purchase the handset without a contract.
