Sprint has announced that customers can now purchase the just announced HTC One M8. The smartphone replaces last year's HYC One and improves on most of its features.

HTC introduced its flagship smartphone of 2014, the HTC One M8. The company surpised many who were reporting that handset would be called the A;; New HTC One or HTC One 2014. In the end, HTC decided to insert the device's codename after its predecessor's, and officially named the handset the HTC One M8.

HTC kept all of the features customer loved with the original and has enhanced and upgraded them on the HTC One M8. You'll get its much-loved anodized aluminum unibody case with a seamless design that makes the device feel great in the hand. It uses a larger 5-inch 1080p Full HD display and a super fast 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.

The HTC One M8 ships with 32GB of internal store and unlike last year's model, this one includes a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 128GB microSD cards. HTC is using its UltraPixel camera technology in the smartphone's new dual rear-cameras, that produce richer tones and truer color saturation. The HTC One M8 also retains the original's high-quality dual-front-facing stereo speakers with HTC BoomSound. It also coes with an updated version of HTC Sense and improved BlinkFeed experience. The smarptone uses a large non-removable 2,600 mAh battery.

Sprint has just announced that customers can now order the new HTC One M8 through Sprint's online store and the device will begin showing up in retail stores in early April.

"Sprint and HTC have a strong history of bringing innovative devices to our customers and we have done it again with the new HTC One (M8)," said David Owens, senior vice president of Product Development, Sprint. "Sprint will offer the new HTC One with the ability to use all three bands of 4G LTE wireless network spectrum available on the Sprint network to provide our customers an enhanced LTE experience. Additionally, with Sprint's new Framily Plan and Easy Pay, well-qualified customers can get the new HTC One for zero down, making it easy for them to get the latest and greatest devices from Sprint without breaking the bank."

Interested customers can now order the Sprint HTC One M8 from Sprint's online store for $199.99 when signing a new 2-year contract.
