The Samsung Galaxy S5 is IP67 water resistant and features a 5.1-inch 1920 by 1080 Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 432 pixels per inch (ppi). The smartphone is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU (graphics processing unit), and 2 GB of RAM. The handset comes with 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via its microSD expansion slot.

The Galaxy S5 is packing a 16 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front-facing camera. Its removable 2,800 mAh battery will provide up to 21 hours talk time and 390 hours of standby time. The unlocked Samsung Galaxy S5 ships with Android 4.4 KitKat but can be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. The smartphone will work on AT&T and T-Mobile's networks.
