Tom Brady definitely has his fair share of loyal fans out there.

Since the NFL hammered him with a four-game suspension on Monday for his involvement in the Deflategate scandal, the New England Patriots' star quarterback has enjoyed a 100 percent increase in merchandise sales. Are you surprised to hear that?

According to Fanatics.com – the biggest online retailer of officially licensed sports merchandise – since the suspension was announced on May 11, Brady has had the highest overall NFL player merchandise sales, with the exception of top two draft picks, Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota.

In addition to Brady's 100 percent surge in gear, the Patriots have become the second highest-selling NFL team behind the Dallas Cowboys — up from fourth, prior to the Wells Report release.

Aside from Massachusetts, home to the Patriots, Brady's merchandise has become more popular in states such as Florida, California, Washington and Michigan, where the quarterback attended college.

It's important to point out that Brady ranked third for total licensed sales during the 2014 NFL season — but the fact that he surged to No. 1 in three days demonstrates how much support he and his Patriots have.

This just goes to show that even when Brady and the Patriots take a licking, they're still winning. Thursday afternoon marks the deadline for Brady to file an appeal for his suspension. Winning an appeal could result in the lowering of his suspension by one to two games.
