If you never understood why people get so up in arms about drones, this story will show you that in the seemingly never-ending battle between people and drones, drones seem to have inched ahead.

Enrique Iglesias was injured during a concert in Tijuana, Mexico Saturday night after a drone sliced his fingers, The Associated Press reports. Iglesias grabbed the drone while it was taking photos of the audience and subsequently injured his fingers, bleeding all over his hand and white T-shirt. Of course, there are photos on social media in case you feel like taking a look at the somewhat gruesome sight.

The singer was "semi-treated" after the accident to stop the bleeding, but he went on to perform the final 30 minutes of the show even though he was advised to stop performing, a representative for Iglesias told The Associated Press in a statement. After the concert, Iglesias flew to Los Angeles to see a specialist.

This isn't the first time a celebrity has had a run-in with a drone, well, at least in the figurative sense. Kanye West has been one of the more vocal celebrity opponents of drones, because he was worried about drones piloted by paparazzi flying over his house. Paparazzi drones have become such a concern that California passed a law last year that banned paparazzi from using drones to take photos of celebrities they otherwise couldn't get without invading their privacy.

Seeing as how drones are increasingly becoming more of a safety and privacy concern, we should only expect this feud to intensify in the future.
