Many new and great games will be coming out this month and we're sure all of you are as excited as we are for their release.

A lot of teasers, leaks and rumors have been floating about in the Internet these days that one can't be too sure if any of them are true. One company though has taken teasing its fans to a whole new level - more accurately, a retro level.

Bethesda Softworks has posted a retro inspired countdown clock in its website causing fans and curious gamers to be on edge as to what exactly will be revealed at the end of the countdown set to expire on June 3 at 9 a.m. CDT/7 a.m. PDT/10 a.m. EDT.

Bethesda Game Studios also posted this tweet:

Though Bethesda has not exactly confirmed that the countdown it set is indeed for the much-anticipated Fallout 4, what the Easter egg fans found in the website hosting the timer is quite revealing. The source code of the website contained a reference to Masterbrain and at the bottom of the code, it says:

"PA system failure has occurred. Shutdown of the Masterbrain has been authorized and all sensitive materials have been removed for security purposes. Please attempt to re-access. Have a pleasant day."

The fact that Bethesda is set to reveal Fallout 4 on June 14 at the E3 press briefing in Los Angeles, it also seems to allude to the purpose of the countdown clock on its website. Bethesda is also said to have a 20-30 minute demo of the new post-apocalyptic RPG game at the E3.

Fallout 4 is the sequel to Fallout 3 released last 2008. There are rumors that the new game will be set in Boston but wherever the new setting will be, it's definitely going to be a new challenge from 2010's Fallout: New Vegas.

Many are speculating that Fallout 4's early debut could be because the developers are wary of potential leaks before the formal reveal in June 14. Whatever the reason why Bethesda has created this countdown, some things are for sure - the web is abuzz with anticipation and curiosity is definitely working in its favor. Come June 14, fans and series followers alike will be lining for its release.
