We recently reported that Samsung's current flagship phablet the Galaxy Note 4 was just ranked No. 1 in a survey of smartphone customer satisfaction. The device beat out both of Apple's latest devices – the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus – by a comfortable margin, along with the latest flagship smartphones and phablets from LG, Motorola and HTC.

Now, consumers can pick up the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for an amazing discount. Customers who sign up for a two-year contract with Verizon or Sprint via Best Buy can save a cool $100 off the price of the device when purchasing it directly through either of the carriers. The Best Buy deal offers the Galaxy Note 4 for just $199 when signing the two-year contract, whereas Sprint and Verizon are charging $299 online and in retail stores.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has been upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop on both carriers, so purchasers will be running the latest version of Android on the phablet. This could come as good or bad news. Some users love the look and features of Lollipop and find their Note 4 taking to it nicely. At the same time, numerous others are still plagued by serious problems with the Lollipop update on the handset, including battery drain, freezing and forced closure of apps, overheating, and even bricking.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has also just been named on a list of Samsung devices confirmed to be receiving the just-announced Android M operating system, which is slated to replace Lollipop by the end of the year.
