It was a controversial week for everything involving Bungie's shooter. First came backlash over the price of the collector's edition of the game's third expansion and the exclusive in-game items within. Then came word of a Red Bull exclusive mission that rubbed many Destiny gamers the wrong way.

All appears to be well now, as Bungie will be offering fans the ability to buy the "exclusive" in-game items from the collector's edition separately. Speaking of buying things, that's what you should be doing right now! Xur is back once again at the Tower and he several exotics you might want to consider picking up for your collection.

You can find Xur hanging out with the various Vanguard quartermasters. Simply go straight and down the stairs upon spawning to find the merchant.

So what is Xur selling this week? His most notable offering is definitely Red Death, the formidable looking assault rifle. When upgraded, each kill with this weapon heals the user, making its vampiric qualities highly sought after. If you are in the market for armor, Xur is selling the Peregrine Greaves from the game's second expansion along with Heart of the Praxic Fire, a handy piece of chest armor for Warlock's who use the Sunsinger subclass.
