Kendall Jenner reaches a milestone in Instagram after it was revealed on Friday that she now has the most-liked image in the social media site. This means that she has beaten the former 'most-liked image' in Instagram held by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
The couple is known for posting anything they want on Instagram. Since there are two of them, most of the posted images would get two likes wherein one goes to the image posted by Kim and the other goes to the one posted by Kanye.
Kendall herself is lagging a few numbers behind her elder sister. Then in a sudden twist of fate, she has managed to surpass her famous family members. Kendall has successfully broken KimYe's record.
The photo that was responsible for Kendall's victory against KimYe reportedly has a whopping 2.48 million likes. It showed Kendall lying down, eyes closed, hands clasped in the middle, in a breathtaking white and sheer gown with her hair spread out around her face while being divided into several sections, each one forming a small heart. At least seven heart shaped formation can be seen in the image.
KimYe's photo is said to have around 2.47 million likes. It was one of the couple's wedding photos where they were seen kissing as husband and wife. It became the most-liked photo on Instagram last year after it earned almost 2 million likes.
This year, the spotlight is suddenly reverted to Kendall whose photo is now the most-liked photo in social media. Kendall is now the new Instagram queen.
Shortly after hearing about the news, 19-year-old Kendall turned to Twitter and started teasing her older sister and brother-in-law.
"take that KimYe! RT @JennerNews: Kendall has outshined KimYe by having the most liked Instagram photo! Congrats," tweeted Kendall (@KendallJenner).
Kendall also posted her "winning photo" side by side with KimYe's on Twitter.
No information so far on how Kim and Kanye had taken their "loss."
