Going up against Star Wars is no easy feat, but Bruce Campbell and friends gave it a fighting their all with a new trailer for the latest horror-comedy property, Ash Vs. Evil Dead. The chainsaw-handed slapstick hero anti-hero will return on October 31st of this year in a 10 episode Starz mini-series.

The Halloween debut date arrived with an action-filled trailer in tow that carries on the horror-humor of Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness, the third film in the original series. The magic combo is due in no small part to the return of the writing team of Sam and Ivan Raimi who helped bring the original series to life with longtime pal Campbell.

Campbell's heroic chin will be joined be Lucy Lawless, in the role of Ruby, and Ray Santiago and Dana DeLorenzo , who round out the cast as fellow Deadite haters Pablo Simon Bolivar and Kelly Maxwell.
