The Warcraft movie is considered the savior for video game movies, but only if it turns out to be something special. At Comic-Con, the trailer was shown and now someone has leaked it online for the world to see.

The quality of the leaked video is weak, as expected, but it isn't weak to a point where we were unable to tell if we should get excited about this film or not. We watched the full four minutes and we have to say it was boring. Not to say the entire movie itself will be a boring mess, but the trailer has done nothing for us at this point.

The trailer kicks off with an army of Orcs walking about. It appears as if their land is dying and, as such, they are preparing to go through a portal to a different land. One of the Orcs, who seems to be a main character, is preparing to be a father since his wife is pregnant.

They keep saying things but, due to the quality, one can't tell much of what they are talking about.

The scene quickly changes to a sorcerer who plans to use the souls of prisoners to open a portal to other realms. He waves his stick around and right away the souls begin to drift away from the prisoners, which in turn, open the portal.

All the Orcs run toward the portal, all ready for war, all willing to conquer the new land.

We can't tell if the CGI is good or not, but we can say for sure that it is too much. Yes, it is difficult to use only practical effects for creatures such as the Orcs, but for digital effects to work, these creatures will have to look just as real as their human counterparts.

Furthermore, the background characters should also look as good as the main ones, and we've seen time and time again where this is not the case.

All in all, we were not impressed by anything shown in the leaked trailer. Let us hope the commercial version that is set to hit the web in November does a far better job than what was shown at Comic-Con.
